How do I pray if ___________is sick? =(

Well there are soooooo many things to say about HEALING....yes, God heals today.

How?

Well sometimes...  God can heal by a slow bit-by-bit process... sometimes HE can perform a miracle and heal ALL AT ONCE. There are times when healing is not the way it goes.. but MANY, MANY, MANY times the person you  pray for is thankfully healed.

God is the ONLY one who can HEAL US....In John 11:25, Jesus said.... "I am the resurrection and the life...... 

God can use a doctor, medicine, a sudden miracle all at once or whatever to bring healing.....ALL we want is RESULTS right?

There is sooo much to know about healing but.....

To get started....

we KNOW that the Bible says....

God's WORD ACTUALLY WORKS

"..so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." Isaiah 55:11

So we can USE the WORD to pray to God for someone who is sick.....

it can be anything from a simple cold or scratch to something really serious!!!

There are LOTS of  PEOPLE who PRAY THE WORDS DIRECTLY FROM THE BIBLE OVER SOMEONE WHO IS SICK.

.....you can even pray them over YOURSELF if you are the one sick.....

HEALING TOOLS=)

Refuse to compromise with doubt and unbelief in ANY form. God’s word works! 

SAY THESE SCRIPTURES to yourself or whoever is sick everyday OUT LOUD!

When you say them you can put your name in them if you like to make them more personal=)

1.

He personally carried our sins
in his body on the cross
so that we can be dead to sin
and live for what is right.
By his wounds
you are healed. 1 Peter 2:24

(because Jesus died on the cross,He PAID for us, so we can be HEALED today)

Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.

Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. James 5:14-16

(pray AND tell God SORRY for sins...God says YOU HAVE POWERFUL prayers)

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

(This means we don’t have to be afraid)

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us–whatever we ask–we know that we have what we asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15

(This scripture means God answers prayers)

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7


(we don’t have to be afraid)
